Our ethos is to support our residents to live their best life, we value each person’s uniqueness, encouraging and motivating our residents to maintain their independence and broaden their horizons. We are currently looking for Senior Carer’s to join our Hotel Living service.
You will have a passion for caring for older people and those with complex needs, you will deliver person centred support and care packages that always exceed expectations. You will promote our living well values and help our resident’s to achieve their life goals. You will show compassion in delivering the highest level of care for those residents nearing the end of their life whilst also supporting their families.
This is a demanding but rewarding role, working within a varied and fun team environment that will provide opportunities to enhance your level of knowledge and skills including palliative and dementia care. You will have the ability to be able to think on your feet and use your initiative, as well as being able to work within a team. You need to be patient, kind and have a caring nature, have excellent communication skills and be as enthusiastic about our values as we are.
The role involves working a range of shifts in our 24 hour, 7 days a week service.
We offer a unique role within a unique care setting, a full induction and opportunities for learning and development. If you have no specific care qualifications when you join you will be supported to study for the Care Certificate and an NVQ level qualification within your 1st year.
Successful candidates will need to have a DBS check carried out as part of the recruitment process.
