Our dedicated Estates team innovatively develop and enhance our 45-acre grounds for everyone to enjoy, including our popular community allotments, and Middleton Hall Retirement Village has been a deserving winner of the Northumbria in Bloom Gold award for many years.
Meander around the Middleton Hall woodland and parkland at your own pace on a range of accessible routes including the Woodland Walk, a mile of pretty, winding paths through woodland and fields, and the Footsteps Walk around the main buildings.
We actively encourage the wide range of wildlife that has made its home on our estate. All are welcome to visit our wildlife and bird hide and we keep a record of the variety of birdlife that visits and inhabits the 46 bird boxes around the grounds.
From recycling across the village, using allotment-grown vegetables in the kitchen and supporting wildlife habitats on our estate, to the development of the carbon neutral, solar-powered properties in The Waterside, we have always championed eco-friendly living and are very proud of our record on sustainability.
We have routes to suit everyone! Join one of our team on a stroll around our spectacular grounds. Get in touch to arrange your visit.
