Nursing Care Manager

Salary – £40,000

We are a multi-award winning, CQC rated Outstanding Retirement village set in the beautiful parkland and Gardens of the Middleton Hall estate.  Middleton Hall Retirement Village is an Employee Owned Organisation, Investors in People Platinum level and a Living Wage Employer.  We currently have 5 care services within Middleton Hall Retirement Village ranging from independent living through to nursing and palliative care.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our leadership team within our high dependency residential and nursing care service – Middleton Court.  If you are currently an experienced nurse who has worked within care or has a passion for working with older people and are looking for that next step up into leadership this could be an exciting role for you.

Reporting to our Head of Care and Quality, your role will be pivotal in driving this service forward facilitating improvements in the quality and provision through collaboration with our key stakeholders, particularly the residents, their families and our Co-owners.  We are looking to review our current nursing provision developing a more flexible approach to delivering our nursing care within Middleton Hall Retirement Village, potentially expanding the service to include community and district nursing.  This review will involve working with influencers within the organisation and partners in the wider health community i.e. Darlington Partnership, on site Medical Centre.

You will be proactive, progressive and share our vision and values, have experience at a senior nursing level and of working within a multidisciplinary team, you will have a strong commitment to training and service development.  You will be an innovator, who can develop and deliver new ways of working, which focus on improving the experience of our residents.  Above all you will be a role model for our Co-owners striving to provide the best level of service and care for each individual resident, helping them live their best lives and promoting independence.
