To celebrate the re-opening of The Orangery our hospitality manager Alexis set our residents an art-inspired challenge to take pictures from around the Middleton Hall Retirement Village grounds that matched the theme of “New Beginnings, Better Future and Spring Time”.
These pictures will then be used to decorate The Orangery ready for indoor dining returning in May. Here are a few of the pictures we were sent by residents, the rest will be on display for visitors to enjoy when The Orangery re-opens.
Hospitality Manager Alexis Boyle said that he had been really impressed with the photos that had been submitted.
“The pictures have all been stunning. I hope everyone enjoyed going out in the sun to take them.
“The aim is to get all of them printed and hung in The Orangery in time for re-opening indoors in May.”
Alexis is also meeting Keith Rowland who used to organise the photography group pre-pandemic to discuss how to reinvigorate the photography group over the oncoming months.
He added: “In the meantime, please keep snapping and get as many friends, neighbours and family to do the same – we have plenty of wall space and are always on the hunt for pictures to put in the newsletter and website!”
