Are you looking for a rewarding role with real job satisfaction and a company that values both its staff and customers, if so we have a vacancy for a Food & Beverage Assistant working 28 hours per week, covering a maternity position. You will need to have a friendly manner, a positive caring can do attitude, good problem solving skills and the ability to use your own initiative as well as being willing to go the extra mile.
Duties include meeting and greeting customers, taking orders, serving drinks and food in the Orangery and Restaurant, booking functions, general housekeeping, clearing tables and washing up and ensuring the highest standards of service is delivered at all times, therefore you must be able to work under pressure, there will be some heavy lifting involved. The role will also involve ordering goods from our suppliers and using our till system, previous experience of using tills and a PDQ machine would be an advantage. Knowledge of dietary requirements and food hygiene level 1 would also be an advantage
You should have a high attention to detail, be a great team player with a patient and caring approach and always remain calm and focused under pressure. We are looking for people who are able to provide that 5* customer service, previous experience of waiting tables, bar or hotel work and Barista training would be an advantage.
Shifts will include working weekdays, weekends and evenings as required, including bank holidays. We will need the successful candidate to be adaptable & flexible and be able to cover extra shifts if required.
Successful candidates will take part in a 6 day induction programme when joining the company, we really value our staff and care about your future development and training, so a willingness to learn and develop in the role would be required.
