“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well”

We agree with Virginia Woolf, who wrote this in her essay “A Room of One’s Own”. We believe it is very important to offer all residents, staff and guests the opportunity to eat well. This means:

  • An excellent, hotel standard of food at all times
  • A choice of menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner where these are provided within a care package
  • Attractive dining rooms where residents are served their meals by cheerful members of staff in Middleton Court and Middleton Gardens
  • Residents and staff of Middleton Oaks prepare meals and eat together in a home-from-home style kitchen dining room
  • The opportunity to be served meals in a person’s own room if they wish
  • A choice of The Orangery and Restaurant in which to enjoy dining with friends or family. Residents of Middleton Grove may take their provided meals in either place.
  • Anyone may enlist our help to organise a private party to celebrate significant occasions with loved ones
