Easter was a very busy time here at Middleton Hall with activities going on across the village both in the buildup to and throughout Easter Weekend.

A Fun Good Friday

Middleton Court residents were assisted by Jerome from the Living Well team in some fun activities including dancing to music and playing pass the balloon! It was so much fun that even Nurse Jo was keen to get involved!

Middleton Court’s Egg-celent Easter.

Co-owners in Middleton Court pulled out all the stops to make sure residents had the very best Easter. This included a special visit from the Easter Bunny and a chocolate egg to go with it.

Middleton Grove Decorations.

Residents and Co-owners in Middleton Grove worked together to craft incredible Easter decorations for their communal rooms.  This included bonnet making, crocheting, decorating flower pots as well as flower arranging.

Middleton Gardens Crafts

Middleton Gardens Supported Living residents enjoyed crafting over the Easter period including painting some eggs and showing our Co-owners how to arrange flowers.

Food and Drink

Co-owners in Middleton Hall Supported Living also arranged a Good Friday Coffee morning for residents including an assortment of cakes and bunny ears.

Middleton Gardens Supported Living residents also sat down on Easter Sunday for a traditional Easter dinner. Independant residents had the option to have special meals delivered to their front door alongside some mini chocolate eggs and fresh Daffodils.

Easter Activities

Residents enjoyed getting out and about on the Middleton Hall grounds searching for Eggs in our Easter Egg Hunt. These eggs, which were decorated by Residents from across the care services, were laid out on the scenic walks around the village for everyone to enjoy and try find on their daily exercise.

Our residents were also able to practice their faith thanks to the wonders of modern technology with Virtual easter services being streamed into Middleton Hall for residents to enjoy.

There was also an Easter Egg decorating competition for everyone to enter ran by The Stables Shop. We’re delighted to bring you this photo of our Winning entry by Middleton Woods resident Jane.

A Special Thanks

And finally Residents and Co-owners in Middleton Oaks were extremely grateful to receive an Easter Egg each from Keith, the brother of one of our Co-owners. Thanks Kevin.
