A packed restaurant was the venue for Middleton Wood’s resident Brian Richards latest concert. This time he teamed up with staff member Gail Jones to entertain his rapidly growing band of fans and at the same time raised over £150 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Brian’s much loved style complemented Gail’s voice as they played a wide range of country and western standards which had the audience tapping their feet and clapping along.
It was clear from the start that the chemistry between the two performers was charming the crowds. Complete with cowboy hats, boots and horse, it wasn’t long before some residents could not resist the urge to dance in the aisles.
Over the period of the 60 minute show, we were treated not only to the fun and laughter but Brian touched many emotions with some of his heartfelt slower ballads.
Brian and Gail closed the show to thunderous applause with many members of their fan club heading to the Orangery to buy them both a well-earned drink.
