Prestigious Photography Exhibition at the Heritage Gallery
The Middleton Hall Photography Group is proud to showcase ‘The Line Through Time’ project at the prestigious Heritage Gallery at Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough.
The talented group of residents, led by tutor Keith Rowland (shown below with gallery curator Jodie Mathey) worked hard to bring the display together to celebrate the 190th anniversary of the 1825 Stockton and Darlington Railway. It was first displayed at Middleton Hall Retirement Village as part of the Darlington Arts Festival earlier in the year. Following this, they were invited to exhibit at Locomotion – the National Railway Museum in Shildon, County Durham.
The Heritage Gallery now offers a wonderful opportunity to show this display to a yet wider audience. The gallery focuses on showing work that sheds light on the history of Teesside’s industrial heritage.
The work will be exhibited from Friday 4th December 2015 until Friday 8th January 2016. The group and visitors enjoyed a Preview Evening where they were able to discuss the project over drinks and a buffet. They received much positive feedback from independent parties.
All are encouraged to go and take a look at this fascinating exhibition – true recognition of the Photography Group’s achievement. Admission is free and there is adjacent free parking. To find out more, including a map, please click here.
