Middleton Court Celebrates a Wonderful 10 Years
Middleton Court was in party mood and celebrated its 10th Anniversary in style.
Residents and their guests were welcomed to a drinks reception, followed by a sumptuous luncheon. In keeping with the record of change and progress seen during the past ten years, drinks were served for the first time in the new dining room, guests spilling out into the courtyard sunshine. Jennifer Ascough, daughter of Elizabeth Ascough, who is the most longstanding resident of Middleton Court, did the honour of cutting the ribbon to officially open the new area.
The Restaurant set the scene for the celebration lunch, with a magnificent cake and ‘ice fountain’ firework to complete the picture. Jackie Cardus, Manager of Middleton Court, said,
“This is a proud day. Residents, guests and staff alike have celebrated a special anniversary in a way that is typical of Middleton Court – with joy, humour and with a sense of together-ness”
