Independent Living

The Waterside

36 zero-carbon bungalows are being constructed as a phased development with a projected completion date of 2016/2017.  Most of the properties are now lived in. Built for the over 55’s, residents are independent and can access all the village leisure facilities and services as and when they require.

The award winning Waterside offers high specification, spacious accommodation with a range of flexible options to suit the individual such as multiple dormer rooms and garages. All benefit from very low energy costs.

Middleton Woods

29 apartments with one, two or three bedrooms. The ground floor apartments have an outside patio area and first floor apartments a balcony. As in the Waterside, all can access all the hotel services as and when they require.

The objectives of both The Waterside and Middleton Woods are:-

  • To provide retirement accommodation that is more spacious and of higher quality than standard retirement housing

Independent living with support

Middleton Grove

20 apartments/suites comprising a lounge, bedroom and en-suite bathroom with the majority fitted with a galley kitchen or kitchenette. Resident care is delivered by Carers known as Personal Assistants.

Middleton Gardens – Residential care

The objectives are:-

  • To provide high quality rooms, that clearly give residents their own personal space along with social space to encourage the sense of community

Family Living – Residential dementia care

The objectives are:-

  • To provide relationship centred care with facilities that support a family, home environment
  • To promote a lifestyle with as much or as little support respecting individuality, preferences and life history and focussing on a persons’ strengths and abilities
  • To support people who live in family living and their families by employing staff who are highly skilled in recognising that the person comes first

Middleton Court – Nursing and palliative care
