Middleton Grove - Facilities

A photo of the bar

The Reading Room/conservatory is situated in the centre of Middleton Grove and is used for morning coffee and pre lunch/dinner drinks as well as a centre for social activities in Middleton Grove.

Meals are served in Middleton Grove’s own dining room with menu choice for each meal served with wine. (Complimentary sherry or fruit juice is served before main meals in the Reading Room.)

As an alternative, residents can upgrade to the restaurant for a small fee for the regular fine dining or buffet events as well as Sunday lunch and Carvery.

The luxurious communal facilities include the restaurant, bar, Terrace (café & shop), hairdressing salon, as well as use of Middleton Hall’s extensive grounds.

The restaurant prides itself on high standards of cuisine, offering fine dining evenings, buffets and special events – for example Burns Supper. In addition there are pub nights and quizzes held in the bar. It is used several times a year for guest events for Middleton Grove residents to invite family or friends.

Residents have access to Middleton Spa for swimming sessions, gym and therapies. In addition to independent sessions in the pool and gym, there are supervised and assisted sessions available. There is a small charge for use of Middleton Spa, to meet VAT requirements.

We welcome guests to eat with residents either in the dining room, restaurant or Terrace.

It is a million miles away from any hint of “institutionalisation”
