We are looking for a team player with a sense of humour who is prepared to be flexible and willing to learn. Having a clean driving licence and able to drive a car/minibus would be an advantage but not essential.
The role is varied but the main focus is to ensure that every resident receives the necessary support and care detailed in their individual well-being plan. This may include support with dressing, mobility and social care, promoting independence or generally living life to the full.
This role is for a permanent position consisting working across a seven day period, including weekdays and weekends. Applicants must be flexible and willing to help the team by working extra shifts if required.
Successful candidates will take part in a 6 day induction programme when joining the company. If you have no specific care qualifications when you join, you will be expected to study for the Care Certificate during your first three months of joining with a commitment to studying for an NVQ qualification within a year. Middleton Hall offers various training courses and programmes to be able to increase your knowledge in your role.
